Presenter: David Gower (also commentating)

Commentators: Michael Atherton, Michael Holding, David Lloyd, Nasser Hussain, Nick Knight and Sir Ian Botham

Sanjay Manjrekar is scheduled to join them from the 2nd test onwards (where I imagine he will replace Nick Knight as with russel arnold for the Sri Lanka tour) as is Shane Warne who is in South Africa. This would explain the lack of an Indian voice even though there are a plethora of them in the ESPN STAR team who are also covering the match at Lords.

I watched the Higgins match on Tuesday morning, with two Australian commentators. But they didn't identify themselves, so not really any help.

I would be interested to know why Ravi won't be doing this series for Sky as I'm sure he and Sunil Gavaskar would have been well ahead of Sanjay on the list of priorities.

I guess it may be to do with the fact that Shastri is an employee of the BCCI and so may either not have been made available to sky (although he is working for STAR Cricket) or sky may not have wanted to hire somebody so closely associated with the BCCI. Manjrekar's absence from the STAR Cricket team is odd in itself as he has always been an ESPN employee.

I quickly flicked onto the other day but none of the commentators sounded similar so I don't have any details but I'll watch a little closer today and see if I can get some names the day session runs from 1pm - 5pm with the night session 7:30pm - 11:30pm so they certainly giving it some air time

Thanks for your help guys. When it comes to their Australian commentators, all I know is that one of them - first name Robbie - is a very close sound-a-like to the darts player Simon Whitlock!

Ah - but does he also share his taste in shirts?

I've yet to see him on screen sadly. On the Fox Sports Australia coverage, one name I've heard is that Michael O'Dwyer is their post-match interviewer.

No luck yet with getting the Fox Sports commentators been fairly busy with work, watching the local news for the last couple of days nothing special but Dougal Beatty has been reporting for Win News - Bendigo and Central Victoria. I have no idea why they have signs in the background saying Melbourne as Bendigo is a good 2 hours drive away

I noticed whilst watching the cricket this afternoon that Sky have started changing the "3rd Man" through the day. Previously they'd have 1 person for the whole day, and a different person for each day of the match, but there were different people sat there at various times today (and the 1st 2 days of this Test).

FINA World Aquatics Championships - Swimming Competition(s) (Shanghai, China)

Drew Gordon and James Parrack* for British Eurosport

Drew has mentioned that he'll be 'flying solo' for the heats in the afternoon (Our Night time) programme, with James coming in for the evening (our afternoon).

Sunday 24th July - Fox Sports 3 (Australia) and Watch&Bet

Australian Snooker Goldfields Open Final: Mark Williams v Stuart Bingham

Phil Lynch presented alongside Dominic Dale and Neil Robertson

Commentators: Clive Everton, Robby Foldvari, Phil Lynch and Dominic Dale

MC and interviewer: Michael O'Dwyer

I think that covers the whole of the Fox Sports team, as I think they've only used those four commentators throughout the tournament. IMG produced their coverage.

It might just be for this Test due to Manjrekar being unavailable for the match?

Anybody know who did the Amir Khan fight last night please ?

Nothing to add in terms of commentary information to what Ariusuk posted three weeks ago, but ITV4's coverage of the Tour de France deserves another mention on here as it has been top class and well worthy of praise.

Gary Imlach, Chris Boardman, Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwen, Ned Boulting and Matt Rendell have all done a great job, as have all the people behind the camera who Gary urged us to thank at the end of tonight's highlights show. ITV4's excellent coverage befitted the best Tour in recent memory.

Indeed, it's a top programme. Despite me usually watching the cycling on Eurosport for the other 11 months of the year, I always stick with it on ITV4 for the Tour.

As for Eurosport, it'd be nice if they put half of the effort they do in to covering the Tour de France in to the Giro and la Vuelta instead of their usual 'quantity over quality' attitude. To round up their team over the last 3 weeks...

Presenter: James Richardson with Magnus Backstedt (stages 1-9, 13-15 and 19-21), John Herety (stages 1-3, 10-12 and 19-21), Rob Hayles (stages 4-6, 13-15 and 19-21), Malcolm Elliott (stages 7-9 and 16-18), Tony Gibb (stages 10-12) and William Fotheringham (stages 16-18)
Commentators: David Harmon and Sean Kelly with Carlton Kirby
Reporters: Gernot Bauer, Stefano Bernabino and Ashley House

Obviously the majority of the weekends boxing has been covered, but for completion it was the usual team of Brian Kenny presenting, with Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas commentating on the Dirrell v Engel Friday Night Fights card on ESPN.

I was wondering if it was because Bumble and Nasser are also working for ESPN so they both couldnt commit to a full day with Sky
