As far as I can work out, Jimmy Arias and Leif Shiras are commentating on the ATP Finals for The Tennis Channel from the studio with Justin Gimelstob reporting in situ.

In terms of trys/points scored, maybe so, but in terms of being the game commanding the largest amount of casual interest going into the weekend it surely had to be Northampton Saints v Scarlets. By far the biggest club rugby story of the week was the possibility of Jim Mallinder becoming the next England manager, so it was a surprise to see Northampton's defeat to the Scarlets not even featuring as a trys edit on ITV4's highlights in my view.

Listening to a bit of Tim Henman and Andrew Castle was like watching paint dry. They are the most boring tennis pundits I have ever listened to. I still can't believe that Mark Petchey and Greg Rusedski are overlooked for the Wimbledon Mens Final in favour of the dull Henman and Castle. In contrast, I'm loving Sky's coverage of the Tour Finals. Petchey, Rusedski and Boris Becker have all been excellent and Marcus Buckland has been brilliant as usual in the presenter's role. I would love if they picked up the Aussie Open or Roland Garros and give it the great coverage they've done with the US Open.

Reflecting, it is Peter Fleming. He looked familiar and you've jogged my memory. I'd forgotten Barry Cowan on the machine, whatever it is called.

Weldone BBC2. Leaves immediately after the match. No need for the viewers to watch the presentations or the interviews, is there?

Eurosport Bobsleigh / Skeleton action from Igls, Austria:-

Women's Skeleton - Martin Haven and David Kurtz
Women's 2 man bobsleigh - Martin Haven and Curt Tomasevicz
Men's Skeleton - Martin Haven and Bree Schaaf (Saturday)

Martin is also the post race interviewer, so production is probably shared with FIBT.com

Does anyone know why the English commentary which is available via the bbc sport website on the Leinster v Cardiff rugby game is not available as an option via the red button? I can't stand that redzone crap and much prefer a proper commentary.

Its such a shame that the BBC who continue to lose more and more sports rights don't do more with its coverage of the Pro12. Often it's not even available on the freeview "red button".

Not sure whos commentating on Ulster v Scarlets on BBCNI, is is Jim Neilly? Either way he's very good.

Am I right in thinking that John Inverdale presented the Tennis on ITV4 yesterday, if so has he ever worked for ITV previously?

Interesting watching the end of the 4 man today and the interviews. I wonder if BE is on a slight time delay because the main commentator made it sound like he was doing the interviews. He translated the answers and then asked the relevant question and always finished in perfect time.
