Churchill Cup on Sky Sports

Canada v. Ireland "A
"

Alex Payne presenting with Toby Flood & Scott Quinnell

Mark Robson & Tyrone Howe commentating. Johnny Hammond reporting.

On an unrelated note Paul Wallace was on The Last Word on Today FM this evening live from Cape Town.

Does anyone know who did Scotland "A" v. Russia in The Nations Cup on Setanta? Sounded a bit like Stuart Storey to me!

Western Province v British and Irish Lions - Supersport

I'm not sure who the main commentator is, Setanta US cut into the feed a few minutes before kickoff. However, co-commentator is Joel Stransky with Bobby Skinstadt pitchside

Has anybody got the names of British Eurosport's commentators at Le Mans this weekend? I can so far only identify Mark Cole as a commentator plus Justine Monnier as a reporter.

Mark Petchey has been excellent at the French Open and now this week at Queens Club. He has put himself in contention for one of the major commenatry roles at Wimbledon I reckon. Keep up the good work!

It was Paul Dickenson who does sound remarkably similar to Stuart Storey

Haven't seen any today, looking forward to my fill this evening though.

On free practice and qualifying I definately heard Martin Haven and Jeremy Shaw (Jeremy was getting very animated towards the end). I also read that Liz Halliday will be commentating again this year, not sure about Carlton Kirby though as he's been cycling duty this week.

As Darren Lethem pointed out, it was Paul Dickenson. Wyn Gruffydd has been a busy boy, as as well as doing Lions commentary for S4C, he did the earlier Italy A V France A in the Nations Cup from Romania.

And it's Dr Stuart Storey to you and me (see post #9)

Supersport's main rugby union commentator is Hugh Bladen. An excellent all round commentator, and much better than some of the guys you'll hear on the Currie Cup come July.

R/U: Australia v Italy

Sky Sports (taking a Fox Sports feed, I think)) Paul Kearns, Greg Martin and Greg Clarke
Channel 7 (Australia) Gordon Bray, Tim Horan and Dan Crowley

In addition to the above, Simon Hill is on duty at the moment. Nevile Hay and Chris Parsons(?) will be on the night shift. Thankfully no Carlton Kirby (on Moto GP duty earlier) or Tony Delahunty(sp?) this year.

Especially when paired with John Lloyd - their French Open coverage was especially good.

It don't think it was Bladen, I think Stransky reffered to him as Matt

At the Oval for NZ v Pakistan in the World Twenty 20 - Ian Bishop, Jeremy Coney, Sanjay Manjrekar, Simon Doull, Anil Kumble and Wasim Akram

You can never have too much Jeremy Coney , one of the best around around atm in my opinion.

On your earlier post Sky do take the Fox Sports feed ever since they started sharing Australia games with Channel Seven. Bit of a shame as I tended to like Seven's coverage with Gordon Bray. I maybe wrong but I think they started doing the analyst on the sideline thing before Fox and Sky in New Zealand.

For all of Hugh Bladen's good points the rest of Supersport's main commentators seem to be quite poor. Had the misfortune of watching the highlights of the game against the Golden Lions and the lead man (Owen someone) was bad. You would have thought that the Golden Lions had won when they scored a try even though they were 50 points behind!

For some reason they seemed to have pushed back Andy Capostagno who was a very capable no. 2 to Bladen in favour of these others.

Is Steve Bunce completely hammered on Setanta 2 Live Boxing right now?
He is very red faced,(more so than usual).
Very odd to watch, the host looks slightly scared.

Stuart Storey and Tim Hutchings are doing the Golden League from Berlin on Setanta 1.

Tim's already recounted how he was sat alongside a sunglassed Ariane Friedrich on the way in on the bus
