Has anybody any idea if Bruce Critchley will be doing the USPGA for sky sports next week.

I am surprised he is not over for the WGC, leaving Howard Clark to walk the fariways with a selected group
Bruce was taken ill on holiday and will not be commentating for a few weeks.
Great shame..hope he get's well and gets back behind the mic soon.
I think he is one of the best Golf commentators around.
Has anyone any news on Bruce? I was hoping he'd be back today for the Vivendi as he enjoys the Matchplay tournaments.

Setanta Ireland has picked up Top 14 Rugby and will be showing 1 game a week. Good news, as EPSN appears to have lost interest already!!

Mike Tyson has been an expert for Germany's RTL on Vitali Klitschko vs Chris Arreola in LA this morning... I'd love to know how much he cost!

EDIT: German heavyweight Luan Krasniqi was the other expert.

Spoiler

UCI Road World Championships on Eurosport last week:

Studio: Presented by James Richardson, guests included Sean Yates, Matt White, Tony Gibb and Emma Silversides

Commentary: David Harmon and Sean Kelly

Included this rather unfortunate outburst by David Harmon and the end of the main event:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSunQ67CKSE

To be fair, he had been on air for nearly 8 hours non-stop!

That looks like the full original list.

However for today's England "match" (if you can call it that), they hired in David Lloyd.

And did not take long for Australia to start the car...

According to his Twitter page, Bumble got the call up a few days ago after England qualified. He also said that ESPN-Star, the host broadcaster, told him that he had to wear a gold tie.

I reckon you might have quoted the wrong one of my posts!

I take it this was the broadcast team for last night's Ulster v Scarlets game, rather than any match from last weekend.

I believe in the BBC archives there is a recording of a live commentary on clay pigeon shooting at the Mexico Olympics.I understand this is the only-known live commentary on clay pigeon shooting anywhere in the world. The commentator was a BBC chap called John Burns.

Setanta are taking the same commentary with Daire O'Brien in studio alongside Emmett Byrne & Liam Toland.

Not sure who did Leinster v. Munster as I was at the RDS but I do know that they were broadcasting from a new studio at the ground.

Can answer my own question now, it was Connor Morris & Donal Lenihan on commentary duty for Leinster's thrashing of Munster.

A glum looking Frankie Sheehan is on The Hub with Daire O'Brien looking over the weekends action.

Scrum V, BBC Two Wales/BBCi

Gareth Lewis presenting alongside Jeremy Guscott and Jonathan Davies from a studio at the Liberty Stadium, straight after live coverage of Ospreys v Edinburgh

Highlights edits:
Ulster v Scarlets - Gareth Charles and Robert Jones (as BBC TV live coverage)
Cardiff Blues v Glasgow Warriors - Nick Webb
Newport Gwent Dragons v Connacht - Gareth Rhys Owen
Leinster v Munster - Phil Steele
Ospreys v Edinburgh - Gareth Charles and Jonathan Davies (as BBC TV live coverage)

Features included Gareth Lewis interviewing various people from the Dragons at Rodney Parade, Rick O'Shea visiting Llanishen to meet Geoff Thomas, who was playing his 1,000th senior game, and Eddie Butler reviewing the start the Welsh regions have made to the new Magners League season.

This week, the show was also broadcast via the red button to the whole of the UK as it followed coverage of a live game.

As a fan of Welsh rugby based in England, I found this very welcome - can we have the show on BBCi every week please?

A bit late, but it was Matt Chilton and Phillip Barker 'commentating' on the 2016 Summer Olympics announcement for British Eurosport from Copenhagen on Thursday.

Sorry for being a bit of a pedant here, but I'm sure the announcement was on Friday?
