And that Tanya Arnold woman, who sounds just like a bloke. So much so that I actually thought it was a dude when I first heard her.

I also have the pleasure of occasionally listening to her manly tones as she's a sports presenter/reporter for Look North (Yorkshire version)

Many Jet and Giant games get a late start due to the normal practice of not having them play at the same time (except on Yom Kippur...). Fox (which pays more for the NFC package than CBS pays for the AFC package) presumably didn't want Giants/Chiefs going up against Dallas/Denver (since Bronco and Cowboy fans would be somewhat interested in that game and Chief fans would likewise be interested in the Dallas/Denver game... as would Giant fans, but the Jets playing in that slot kills that).

That was just one example though there are numerous more. Buffalo @ Carolina in Week 7 and Jacksonville @ Tennessee in Week 8 are two. There seems to be a more conscious effort to split games out of traditional slots this year

A big series for the TBS boys. Chip Caray has come in for a lot of stick recently and Ron Darling is having his finances trawled through the US media. Good to have Buck Martinez back on the main crew though.

Amlin Challenge Cup, Sky Sports

Saracens v Toulon - Mark Robson and Dan someone (commentary)

Only caught a little bit of this game last night, and didn't recognise the co-commentators voice but caught his first name.

I'm guessing it was Dan Luger, which would make sense given that he's a former Saracens and Toulon player.

Wish someone would keep him there (or better still, off air permanently) as I find his "style" of presenting awfly waffly when he's in the studio, or commentating from the sidelines, or doing anything for that matter.

Forgt to mention at the start of the week, what did you guys make of having the European Rugby highlights show in the same style as 'The Super 14 Show'? I quite enjoyed it, although for me an hour was too short to fit all the action into.

I'm not much of a Rugby fan, but if I was I'd be very disappointed they squished a programme that's always been 2 or 2 and a half hours down in to an hour.
