I've been suprised by the lack of Harrison and Barnes during the first weekend. Not sure if they've been paired together all weekend as Harrison commentated with Will Greenwood yesterday.

This will be my first weekend with Setanta, I am looking forward to the Kelly Pavlik v Bernard Hopkins fight. Do they use the U.S commentary for this or do they have their own guys there?

Setanta did use the excellent John Rawling but he has other commitments with ITV now. Hi Darren I see ITV has a fair few darts tournaments coming up, I take it JR will be used on these. Also in the dim and distant past he did work on football for Five Live, I wonder whether they'll use him as one of their FA Cup commentators. No doubt CT and PD will do the ITV live games but I am guessing they'll have a Match of the Day type show on 3rd round Saturday etc |

The new European championship is at the end of the month, I think I read on one of the other threads that Peter Drury will be involved in commentating on it
The third darts tournament this year is the Pro-Celeb challenge. But there will be more darts in January too. |

Having noticed that he is on the jolly up to the Stanford Series, surely the terminally bland Ian Ward hasn't now pushed the excellent Charles Colvile down to third place in the pecking order of Sky cricket presenters?

ariusuk- you have let the cat out of the bag with news about jan- the pdc have not confirmed it was itv. itv will be showing the euro champs from ger, celebrity darts (1 night), grand slam of darts. Great news for darts that the jan event is on itv, most thought it would be on nuts
Sky still have the crown jewels (matchplay and world champ) plus prem lge, las vegas, uk open, world grand prix. Maybe itv could try for highlights of the world champs? |

It may be entirely coincidental that the PDC has a tournament in January too. |

The problem is he seems to have been give the No.2 role which leaves him doing all the England summer highlight shows, winter internationals and some county games. Ward seems to be the main county presenter and ironically gets more on screen time at live games. |
