Haven't got around to watching how Yachvili personally destroyed the Dragons on Saturday yet .

It's interesting the way Sky use Scott Hastings as a co-comm one week and a commentator the next week. He's not a bad commentator.

I think Simon Ward did Saracens v. Castres at 8pm yesterday with a Welsh co-comm (Phil Davies maybe?).

The only mainstay of the Sky coverage not heard so far is Nigel Pearson, I imagine he'll join their team on Sunday after he's commentated on Blackburn v Tottenham for talkSPORT today.”

As expected, Nigel has joined the Sky Sports team at the Ally Pally today. His first match was the thrilling contest between Alan Tabern and Ken MacNeil, which he commentated on alongside Rod Studd.

I'm enjoying the Sky coverage so far - by the way, for those of you without Sky, tournament sponsors Ladbrokes are streaming every match on their website. It's well worth signing up for a free account if you fancy following the arrows.

India v Sri Lanka - 2nd ODI

As per 1st ODI

Australia v West Indies - 3rd Test

Presenter: Paul Allott
Pundits: Colin Croft (Days 1-3), Ian Harvey (Days 4+5)

Commentary from Channel Nine team of Bill Lawry, Ian Chappell, Michael Slater, Ian Healy, Mark Taylor, Adam Gilchrist, Tony Greig and Mark Nicholas

Sky used a new studio with video walls and a new desk on the final day. I would imagine this was sky testing the studio prior to its introduction some time in the New Year as this was always going to be only a short day due to the match situation.

South Africa v England - 1st Test

Presenter: David Gower (also commentating)
Commentators: Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain, Sir Ian Botham, David Lloyd and Shaun Pollock

Highlights were presented by Charles Colvile alongside Bob Willis. They were joined by Steve Harmison (Day 1), Robert Key (Days 2+3) and Graham Thorpe (Days 4+5). The studio that was used on days 2-5 appeared not to be ready on day 1, so the usual international cricket studio was used.

India v Sri Lanka - 3rd ODI

Presenter: Nick Knight
Pundit: John Emburey

Commentary from BCCI/Nimbus Sports team of Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Laxman Sivaranakrisnan, Arun Lal, Ranil Abeynaike and Russel Arnold

He's normally an overnight Sky News presenter so I would guess so.

A former first class cricketer with Gloucestershire, Surrey and Kent as well (albeit briefly).

I'm pretty sure this is the first time he has been used on live cricket though.

I'm guessing Colville did India V SL in the early hours this morning?

Ian Ward and Paul Allott on holiday??

Just seen Bobin is down to do Good Morning Sports Fans on SSN so guess they had to get Jason in

Colville is doing the highlights of the England match.

Paul Allott did the first two nights of this match- maybe he is ill?

Nick Knight did the India v Sri Lanka match that was abandoned early.

I think de la Paca was probably a last minute replacement for Paul Allott, who presented the first two days of the game and the previous Australia v West Indies test last week - I am sure I heard Allott saying that him and Ian Harvey would be doing the whole game on one of the first two days. If this was the case then Ian Ward is probably on holiday - he would usually be presenting this game anyway and Charles Colvile is presenting the South Africa v England prime-time highlights. Nick Knight has been doing India v Sri Lanka and presented the international cricket highlights yesterday (I believe he was due to start presenting live India v Sri Lanka coverage on the red button once Australia v Pakistan finished but the game had been abandoned by this point so he never got on live yesterday). I will write a full update on this week's cricket presenters, pundits and commentators on Wednesday.

Apologies re Charlie Colville, completely forgot there was a test match involving England and South Africa on, only been watching it for the last three days.....

Thought De La Pena did well again last night, perhaps they will try him out on more games in the future

India v Sri Lanka - 4th ODI

Presenter: Nick Knight
Pundits: Ashis Ray + Shaun Udal

Commentary from BCCI/Nimbus Sports team of Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Laxman Sivaranakrisnan, Arun Lal, Ranil Abeynaike, Russel Arnold and Sourav Ganguly (special guest for a few overs)

Australia v Pakistan - 1st Test

Presenters: Paul Allott (Days 1+2), Jason de la Pena (Days 3-5)
Pundit: Ian Harvey

Commentary from Channel Nine team of Bill Lawry, Richie Benaud, Michael Slater, Ian Healy, Mark Taylor, Shane Warne, Tony Greig, Mark Nicholas and Kevin Rudd (Australian Prime Minister; special guest for half an hour on day 2)

South Africa v England - 2nd Test

As per 1st Test

Highlights were presented by Charles Colvile alongside Bob Willis and Robert Key. Once again, the normal international cricket studio was used on day 1 and the special studio for this series on days 2-5.

India v Sri Lanka - 5th ODI

This game was abandoned due to an unfit pitch. Highlights were presented by Nick Knight, who I assume would have taken over in the studio had the match still been ongoing when Australia v Pakistan coverage ended. As the match was on the red button only, we therefore never saw any pundits. I assume the commentators were the same as during the 4th ODI, with the exception that Ganguly would not have been used as a special guest. As I was unable to record coverage of this match as it was red button only can someone please tell me if I anything I have posted is incorrect.

I am trying to identify the home team for South Africa v England but can only find the following:

SABC Ian Bishop
Supersport Neil Manthorp, Darryl Cullinan, Kepler Wessels, Robin Jackman, Matthew Hoggard and possibly Mike Haysman.

Any help would be appreciated.

Neil Manthorp and Matthew Hoggard are SABC, not Supersport. Neil Johnson is also working for SABC. Not sure about this series but in past series where sky have taken SABC feed Craig Morais, Natalie Germanos and Cass Naidoo have also been part of the team. Supersport team is Kepler Wessels, Daryll Cullinan, Brett Proctor, Robin Jackman, Pommie Mbangwa, Geoffrey Boycott and David Lloyd.

Shelsey93, thanks. It puzzles me that Neil Manthorp writes for the Supersports website - that is why I assumed that he also commentated for Supersports. It makes sense that Matthew Hoggard commentates for SABC as they, as host broadcaster, zoomed in on him in the midst of the Barmy Army on Tuesday.
