Got to say I can't share your enthusiasm about him Darren.

The jury is still out for me, I've found him and his humour to be very annoying at points but the upside is that he seems to have a genuine enthusiasm for darts.

I didn't like how he seemed to be insinuating that Anthony Fleet was drunk during his mauling by Martin Adams at the end of the live BBC Two game on Monday - the BDO gets enough criticism as it is without him adding that!

I do think it's a good move to put David Croft alongside Colin and Bobby during the daytime stuff though, he's more articulate than Bobby and clearly has a lot more knowledge than Colin (I had to chuckle when he mistook Gary Robson for Stewart Robson on Saturday!).

Colin isn't all bad, and it could be worse - remember John Inverdale or Mark Pougatch? - but I can't help but think the BBC could have picked a better replacement. Rob Walker is there as a reporter, why couldn't he have been the main host after the good job he did at the Masters?

Have to say that I think the BBC coverage is missing Ray Stubbs.

Very disappointly the promo advert for it and the EPG suggest the coverage won't be in HD on Saturday!

David Croft and Tony Green on BDO Darts final. Croft is excellent, Green I'm afraid is awful. Akin to Ray French on Rugby League.

'It dosen't matter what he scores,' when one player can't finish, but the other can. What rubbish. There is a strong chance if the other player is on a 3 dartsfinish (even a 2-darter) that you will get to return.

Green is also oblivious to the PDC and Phil Taylor.

His general commentary is littered with errors and he has a very poor vocabularly- 'Yes,' appears his favourite saying.

I disgaree with that bit. He had a good chat with Croft this week about Phil Taylor and how wonderful he is. He does make errors but I would sooner him to Waddell any day.

Sorry- I have not probably watched as much as you. When I have watched and Croft has mentioned the PDC a couple of times Green has changed subject very quickly.

Green has presented the US Open in 2008, a PDC event. I understand the politics of the split in darts, and repsect both organisations, but labelling Adams the best in darts is slightly misleading
