Does anybody know who out of British Eurosport and the BBC has better rights (e.g. Murray matches) for the upcoming Australian Open? British Eurosport will be using Annabel Croft and Mats Wilander as their guests on their coverage of it.

They have the same rights. Both channels can show whichever matches they like.

I've heard a bit of Andrew Cotter (BBC's Golf and Rugby Union guy) and Chris Dennis (though not on the same match) do some games for British Eurosport 2 this morning.

Nick Fellows and John Clark did the Men's Downhill from Wengen on Saturday for Eurosport. Nick went really growly when Bode Miller failed to finish.

I think I might sign up for the Eurosport Player, the 2 PVRs I used to record last nights play is already at breaking point

..and right on cue (I'm watching Sharapova-Kirilenko) I've hard Frew McMillan say that Chris Bradnam is outside on 'rain watch', so he's definitely there.

I think Chris Dennis must be black in Feltham, as the audio feed was lost early on in the match, and he started commentating for a minute or so.

Matt did the women's giant slalom from Maribor on Sunday morning, won by Katrina Zettel, who said after her victory: "I'm so happy I'm on cloud seven!"

There is a Chris Dennis who reports on Saturday afternoon football games for BBC Five Live and, I think, Final Score too.

I'm no fan of tennis and am not much of a Five Live listener either, so I wouldn't have the foggiest as to whether he's the same guy, but someone might.

Just a post to say that Bill McLaren has died at the age of 86, the sad passing of a fine commentator

Bill McLaren was a major part of my watching sport since the sixties. RIP Bill and thanks for the memories.

Jonathan Harris Bass is on Eurosport as well during the night session (our mornings) on court round up duty.

The best comment I've heard during a match so far was one Chris Bradnam come up with during the Han (CHN) V Stosur (AUS) first round match. Whilst noticing Han has been throwing with her left hand, he went "Well, it's not often you get a Leftie from China"
