Cheers- just about tot post this evening. Do you know who did the QF in the afternoon?

Disappointed Pyke wasn't used ahead of Rawling. I appreciate Pyke is a freelancer but he is the best darts commentator they have.

Drury did football from The Emirates in the afternoon- so a busy day!

Sorry loyalsince, last night's evening session was the first/only one I saw of the Players Championship. At all other times when it was taking place, I was either out of the house or watching/following top class sport from elsewhere.

I too would be interested to know which commentators ITV4 used over the past four days, given that their usual trio weren't always available for every session of darts.

As you say Peter Drury was working on the international feed on the football on Sunday afternoon, and according to the Radio Sports Commentators and Reporters thread, Stuart Pyke would have been otherwise committed at the rugby league in Wrexham on Friday night.

So, did the commentators that were there on those occasions just share out all the games between them, or were substitute commentators - perhaps Rod Studd as was the case early on during the last Grand Slam of Darts - brought in?

Also, was Janie Omorogbe involved? She didn't appear at all last night - given the shorter format of the Players Championship, perhaps ITV just opted for one reporter in Ned Boulting.

I only saw bits of the games. Pyke did rugby on fri night and was only used on Sat/ Sun. Think they only used Rawling/Drury with Warriner-Little/ Mason on Thur/Fri

Thanks for posting those details loyalsince. Do you know if Janie Omorogbe was involved in their coverage over the past four days?

There is only one reporter (Ned) for the Players Championship. It is not until you get a ten-day marathon, like the Grand Slam, that you need two.

I'm not 100%, but I think the touchline reporter at Croke Park may have been Graham Simmons, who usually works for Sky Sports. The guy's name was definately Graham, and his voice sounded familiar.
