also a big thanks to shelsey for updating the cricket presenters and comms every week. I noticed the different presenter voice during the second Aus v WI ODI and suppose it makes sense to be Floyd, seemingly always a forgotten man in the sky cricket team. Never saw him, but recognised the voice. Interesting that Simon Thomas seems to have been dropped off the live cricket now, I guess sitting next to Georgie Thompson every afternoon is a more attractive prospect.

If anyone from the BBC are reading, please let Raphael Ibanaez to speak more, as most of the time he would be halfway through a sentence and would be interrupted by someone to raise a completely different point.

Next Saturday BBC1 have indoor athletics on. Now there two main men ( Steve Cram and Paul Dickenson ) are in Canada for the Winter Olympics so I wonder if we will hear Stuart Storey back on the BBC athletics coverage.

I think it's a shame when a test series between arguably the finest two sides in the world is relegated to the red button in deference to yet another one day international.

I quite agree - particularly when the 4th Australia v West Indies ODI was a dead rubber anyway. I thought the India v SA series was badly treated in general by Sky - would have loved to have seen the excellent Ashis Ray used in the studio at some point instead of the bland Mark Butcher and Robert Croft. For the 2008 India v SA series Sky used Ashis Ray and Dave Houghton together.

Anybody know why Sky haven't sent their own commentary team to the Accenture World Matchplay Golf?
I thought they usually did but it appears that Ewan Murray and Bruce Critchley are just part of an international team along with an American who I don't recall ever hearing before.

Leinster V Scarlets (Magners League RU)

S4C had commentary from Huw Llewellyn Davis and Derwyn Jones with English language red button commentary from Wyn Gruffydd and John Devereux. Didn't watch any of the build up so don't know who was presenting it.

Ulster V Newport-Gwent Dragons (Magners League RU on Friday)

Gareth Lewis presenting with Robert Jones and Bryn Williams at Ravenhill with commentary from Gareth Charles and Jonathan Davies. I bet GC and JC had to watch what they said as for the last 20 minutes or so Paul Turner (Dragons' coach) was less than 5 feet away

Yes, he will do the Australia v Pakistan and England v Pakistan series and has also signed on for the Ashes in Australia.

Good news although I assume it means Michael Holding only doing county games (would sky have two neutrals together?) or that we will have no Pakistani summariser (Sky seem to have moved away from using the likes of Tony Cozier and Ramiz Raja, who was used for the 2006 Pakistan v England series and instead towards better known names to the casual fan such as Shaun Pollock and Warne in recent years so its possible that sky wont have a guest Pakistani if someone like Waqar or Wasim does not sign up). Alternatively, an eight man team could be used as in Australia or a rotation policy introduced.
