Was there a studio show for yesterday's website only IPL or did they just broadcast the host feed?

No studio was used (and also no adverts) but the usual blurring of the logos in the top right hand corner, itv.com/ipl covering of bottom line of screen and covering over of mid-over adverts was in place. Highlights of these games will be shown from 2.15pm to 3.15pm on ITV4, prior to the start of today's game. I think Mark Pougatch will be presenting.

According to this article

www.world-track.org/?p=11262

the BBC have the rights to the events held in Britain as part of their contract with UK Athletics, but they are fighting it out with Sky for rights to the other 12.

IPL

Simon Hughes continued to present ITV4's coverage on Day 20 and improved his performance significantly from Day 19 before taking us his primary role as a pundit later in the week. Mark Pougatch hosted on Days 21, 22 and 25, his first work for ITV and was very impressive both with his calm style and cricketing knowledge. Jim Rosenthal did Day 23. On Day 24, coverage was available on itv.com only and thus no studio was used. Matt Smith returned yesterday. Just one pundit was used on Day 21, the first time in this competition.

Pundits:
Day 20: Mark Butcher and Dimitri Mascarenhas
Day 21: Alec Stewart
Day 22: Mark Butcher and Simon Hughes
Day 23: Matthew Hoggard and Simon Hughes
Day 25: Andre Nel and Simon Hughes
Day 26: Mark Butcher and Simon Hughes

Leinster V Clermont Auvergne (Heineken Cup RU Q-Final)

Simon Lazenby hosting with Dewi Morris, Will Greenwood and Paddy Wallace in the studio with Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes commentating. Can't remember who was on 'The Front Line' - Tyrone Howe maybe?

I liked the way due to the way the studio was positioned, it looked as though Simon was carrying the sun on his shoulder when sunset came

Thanks. I know it'll end up just being a World Feed affair, but it seems wrong to have Athletics on Sky Sports. Looking through Digiguide Eurosport have the Continental World Challenge thing.

All so called `sports presenters` should be sent back to school to learn command of the English language!
Football commentators get so excited-anyone would think that it was a `life and death` situation they were talking about!
Some would say,"it`s only a game"-well,it isn`t even that,nowadays!
It`s all to do with money-human competition went out of sport many years ago!

I think you mean Paul Wallace and not Paddy

The studio looked really funny from the ground. It's positioned on the old terrace. It didn't look very big either- I'd say it was something of a tight squeeze.

Yep - I'm sure there was a bit of leg/knee rubbing going on from the person sat next to each pundit.

I caught the first half of this, and in hindsight, seemed some bizarre reasoning behind putting the 2nd half on the Red Button only, with an hour or so build up to the Ospreys' game on SS2. If the game finished at around 2.30pm, then there would be a good half hour build up and reaction to both Connacht and Biarritz.

Interesting to see on BBC today that Darren Owen's spotter was Lee Mackenzie. I am guessing that John Hamner is still spotting for Jim McGrath so I wonder who the 3rd spotter was
