On the re-run this morning, it was just Jim Rosenthal in the studio (presumably in London).

Doing the post-fight interviews in the ring was HBO's Max Kellerman.

Yes presentation seemed to be from the normal ITV Sport studio

But the comms were there, as Rawling interviewed Khan after the fight-don't know if this was shown on the highlights this morning, and him and McKenzie did a piece to camera before the fight,

Don't really know why they bothered sending Chris Hall out there, when Rawling did most of the interviews anyway. Must have been a nice holiday for him.

That's strange, I'd have thought they'd have used John's interview with Amir and only used the HBO interview with Pauli seeing as they had made the effort to do interviews themselves.

Jim's involvement in this morning's programme was basically just to do the links. The hour long programme consisted of a full re-run of the fight with the breaks between rounds taken out, the decision and interviews with both fighters before they went off-air. Hence why Barry McGuigan wasn't involved.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did something there for Granada too

Will Chignell and Tyrone Howe.

3D may have done everyone a favour and got Will Greenwood off the main coverage!

Bob Papa and Max Kellerman commentated for HBO. Lennox Lewis has been mercifully sacked from the "Boxing After Dark" team so for now it will be two men and not three.

On the subject of the Magners League, I am very disappointed that the Play-Off Final a week on Saturday is going to be televised on S4C in the UK and Setanta in Ireland. It is bad news for those of us in England and Scotland who only have access to Freeview.

Anyone know how the ML decided how their play-off matches would be divided out among their TV partners?

I was hoping that the first Magners League Final would also be televised on BBC Two throughout the UK, much like how the finals of the short-lived Celtic Cup (an end of season knockout competition played in 2003 and 2004) were.

Would be worth contacting the Magners League directly to see if another station could have access.

BBC Wales don't have the final then?

S4C do, although I'm sure there'll be people moaning in the papers that (as it stands) there's no 'English' coverage of the game.

Huw Lewellyn Davis and Gwyn Jones did the Leinster V Munster game too

ESPN and BBC Red Button are taking the world feed for the athletics from Daegu.

Just one commentator, not one of the regular voices, and it's off-tube (probably from London considering some of the comments made so far)

I think it's Andy someone, I'm sure he's commentated on athletics for Eurosport before

HE's doing a fine job, but needs someone alongside him... it's too much work for one person to commentate for over two hours on an athletics meeting.

The play-off split in the UK saw BBC Wales get the Friday night semi-final between the Ospreys and Glasgow - clearly the better game for a predominantly Welsh audience - while S4C got the Saturday night semi between Leinster and Munster.

It could be that S4C are getting the final to themselves in the UK as a means of balancing things out after BBC Wales were given the first choice semi-final.

That said, I personally feel the Magners League would be wise to allow all of their broadcast partners to show what is the season-deciding game, much like how both BBC Scotland and Sky Sports can both show the Scottish Cup Final in football for example.

You could say that non-rugby fans would be annoyed that both BBC Wales and S4C were broadcasting the same game, but then that happens with most Welsh rugby union internationals and it's not a problem.

The ML must realise that a fair chunk of their TV audience is made up of Freeview viewers based outside of Wales - look at the amount of texts Rick O'Shea's Fanscene gets on a Friday night - so surely it would be in their interest as a competition to allow those viewers a means of watching the play-off final.

The thing is, it's not that S4C don't offer English language coverage - viewers with S4C access can hit the red button for an English commentary - my moan is that it's not a channel that can be viewed in England unless you have Sky, Freesat etc.

I've not got a problem with S4C showing the final, I'm sure they'll do a fine job, but I just think it's counterproductive for the Magners League that most of the audience who have followed the league through the only one of their three TV partners that is widely available across the UK won't be able to see the league's first grand final.

You'd think they'd want to reach the largest audience possible for their biggest match of the season and surely BBC Two Wales via channel 301 on Freeview offers them far more exposure than both S4C and Setanta do. I'm sure it would have been a bigger issue if Glasgow had reached the final - in which case the biggest match in their recent history would not be covered live on a channel serving Scotland.

I think if that had happened...what would be the chances of STV picking up the game, after all, they showed the two Glasgow v Edinburgh games live
