Good to see that Simon Ward voiced over the match that he attended on behalf of IRN.

I think she's freelance, as it's been posted upthread that she popped up on the gee-gee parade in Olympia on Eurosport 2 (although I think they just take the BBC Interactive feed anyway?)

Saracens V London Irish for Sky Sports 2/HD2 are Will Chignell and Ieuan Evans

Oh, and Brent Pope* (Cardiff Devils Manager) is the 'man behind the mic' for Eurosport 2's coverage of the Ice Hockey U20 World Championships.

* and who seems to commentate in sentences rather than in a describing way.

Which *If* true could be interesting, as that would leave Sonia McLoughlin and Gareth Roberts (BBC Wales' Scrum V reporter) increasing their travel miles!

What I think to be the case is that the BBC simply allowed Jill to be at Murrayfield so she could be near her family over the Christmas period, and would provide a predominately Scottish feel on a Scottish match.

It's all interesting though as I presume that Setanta will need to expand their team that broadcasts rugby when they start to cover the Guiness Premiership.

They don't get the rights for 18 months, so they have plenty of time.

France V Australia in the recent Rugby Union Autumn International(s) was done by someone calling himself John Harris Bass (well for Ten (Australia) at least).

I recognised the voice when I watched it, as he did France V Pacific Islanders for the World Feed.

You remembered it during the middle of the night and got up to tell us, didn't you?

Anyone else notice how all the montages from Sky's World Darts are using music from 1990-91? Fabbo....
