Has Helen Chamberlain been on the PDC darts since Christmas?

I was watching the highlights of the Opsreys v. Munster match last night and it sounded more like Donal Lenihan than Reggie Corrigan to me!

Could've been. I only watched about 3 minutes or so of it via Setanta. At the time of watching it, the graphics team were busy awarding the first try to the Ospreys rather than for Munster

Just wondering how many of Sky's HC matches this weekend will be done live as opposed to off tube? Is it only the main matches?

All of the commentators will be there, as there's no Interactive matches taking place.

Interesting that Tyrone Howe instead of Stuart Barnes is with Miles Harrison at Munster-Sale.

I believe Munster were unhappy about comments on Paul Warwick during their previous meeting.

It's been complained in the Celtic nations that since gaining full exclusivity that Sky's coverage is "too English".... so breaking up their main commentary team is quite a development.

That is interesting, I think it's better when they mix up their pairings. Harrison & Barnes are excellent together but it's good to different mixtures. (Once Will Greenwood isn't involved)

Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen are on Tour Down Under (Cycling) duty it seems (as is mostly the case) for SBS / World TV.

And those of us who watched the First Edition on Sky Sports 2 on Sunday had the rare privilege of seeing the Temporary Fault Sky put up when something goes wrong (The DOG was also in the 4:3 area during the show).

Ospreys v. Leicester on Sky Sports 1

Miles Harrison & Stuart Barnes

Does anyone know what matches Sky are showing at 1pm tomorrow. Will Sky put the Munster match on the red button?

I think they are, along with the Wasps game.

Don't know if cricket is allowed a mention here, but have been watching a fair amount of the Aus/SA Test/ODI/T20 series on Sky Sports. Ian Ward presenting with Dave Houghton/Ian Harvey in the studio, and pictures/commentary from Channel 9 Australia, who seem to have three commentators at a time (eg Richie Benaud, Bill Lawry and Tony Greig). Mark Nicholas has been doing alot of the commentary too and almost sounds like an Aussie!

I know this doesn't apply to this weekend's coverage of the Heineken Cup but I have noticed in past weeks that Miles Harrison and Stewart Barnes haven't always been pared together. Do we think this is merely Sky spreading their good assets over a large number of games or a slight demotion for Harrision (Tyler style). Either way Mark Robson has emereged as a good number 2. This in addition to his commentaries on N. Ireland games and it looks as though he has made a good move to Sky.

Interesting since I'm sure each time i've watched the Ospreys this season, Stuart Barnes has started to say, 'I grew up in Wales Miles and.....' at least once a game.

Yeah it's a point I mentioned before although one week may have been down to illness since I don't think he did a game all weekend. It was the same weekend Simon Lazenby didn't do the Sunday games (Perpignan/Leicester?), I think for the same reason.

On the house keeping front:

Australian Open - BBC Comms: Chris Bailey, Sam Smith and John Lloyd.

European Figure Skating - BBC: Barry Davies and Robin Cousins with Sue Barker allowed out of the studio to do a bit on site.

Incidentally messers Barnes and Symonds at The Rec on SSN earlier.

People I've heard on Eurosport then:-

Chris Bradman and Jo Durie as one pairing and David Mercer and Nick Brown as another. Simon Reed is another (who is there as he's a world feed guy and interviewer on behalf of Eurosport) Frew McMillan has just bounced into my head.

Bob Symonds was at the Montauban - Munster game today (with ??)

I believe you meant you write messers Barnes and (Miles) Harrison at the Rec.......
