Little Donkey
27-08-2008
I bought the latest classic release on Monday - The War Machines.
the DVD cover lists the DVD has easter eggs.

Can anyone tell me how I can find these?
On this, or any other DVD??

Thanks.

This is quite a useful site:-

http://www.dwwa.net/dwvwe/dvd/eggs/eggs.html

It hasn't been updated with The War Machines yet though.

Thank you both. That's great.
I'm going to have to get all my DVDs out now to see what I've been missing!

One of the best easter eggs on a DW DVD is the extra commentary on The Five Doctors 25th anniversary set. It features 3 folk from the new series being David Tennant , Phil Collinson and Helen Raynor rewatching the multi doc classic
Just a shame RTD and or the Moff wasn't involved too though!

I have to agree with Gary Gillatt in his review for the Five Doctors DVD in DWM 394 where he says that Collinson, Tennant and Raynor are far too nice and professional on the commentary and he wishes they had put down some brutally honest criticism. Such as "That Paul Jerricho, he's crap isn't he!"

I know they never would because they are too nice and professional but it would have been funny if they had took the mickey out of it in the friendly fashion that three long term fans not connected with the show probably would if they watched it together over a few beers. Then again imagine the reaction of some fans to them slagging it off

I heard some fans moaning that RTD said Keys of Marinus wasn't brilliant on the commentary to Forest of the Dead. I mean as if thats a controversial view i give up! (I do like Keys of Marinus BTW but i do realise that despite my fondness for it, it is actually pants)

Hey - love Easter Eggs! As previous poster said, usually relatively easy to find..but the War Machines one is eluding me (or perhaps my remote needs new batteries )! Anyone found it? Cheers.
