I'm expecting delivery of this album soon.

I'm not got any previous albums by Anthrax, as I never heard much of them being played anywhere, so its nice to see them getting some attention like on SCUZZ.

This channel was an excellant idea, compared to kerrang

The single Safe Home is the best rock tune I've heard in a good while, just wondered if anyone has the album and what's it like?

Though knowing me, now I'll go back and get the back catalogue of Anthrax.

I have had the album for ages (US import). If you like thrash metal then this is a good album, but it sounds like all their other albums, which is a shame. Should do better than Shite Anger by Metallica.

Wooooooo, it's just arrived.....it's also an import.

This drummer is very talented, drums, guitars and solos.

Sounds good so far

This album f**king rocks,,

I was impressed by SAFE HOME when I heard it, and I have to say, It's been a long time since I actually sat and listened to an album from start to finish..

Even the Darkness dosent come close to this.

Every track is excellant on this album.......

And John Bush's vocals are brillant.

A proper ROCK album,,,,,

the album has been out in the uk for months now (over 6).

there is a limited edition version where there is only 1000 world wide that i have

also i dont think it sounds like there other stuff, it smuch more modern then all of there older stuff. (IMO)

its a very very very good album.

edit: also what do you guys think of Safe Home [Acoustic] ?? (if you got it on your versions) its on the uk normal version.

Anthrax - Release date 24-02-2003

Check out "Spreading the Disease" - 2nd album and "Among The Living" - 3rd album.

I've not hear the new album, not heard anything from them in a few years but they became stale after 4 or 5 albums (something that happens to most bands in my opinion) so the change of vocalist to John Bush was a good move as it revitalised the band.

Also if you like John Bush's vocals check out his previous band Armoured Saint = some absolutely excellent albums. March of the Saint, and Delirious Nomad being 2.

Anthrax's old singer was a man called Joey Belladonna (sp), he was a screaming little man.

I dont know why he left (or was fired) by anthrax, and i dont know what he is doing now, but i do remember rumours years ago when bruce dickinson left iron maiden he was one of the singers who auditioned before blaze bailey got the gig.

So is he much different compared to John Bush?

As I'd like to compare them see what he was like.
