I like Eoghan! I hope he goes far.

I loved it when he sang "Home". It's one of my favourite songs ever. He manages to make it different from the way Michael Buble, Leon Jackson and Westlife all sang it. I was expecting people to label Eoghan as a "Michael Buble wanabee" (due to him singing Home) but suprisingly there hasn't been any of that.

If you look at his Bebo page, it seems as if he's getting at least 100 comments a day from fans!

They all said they'll be voting like mad for him if he gets to the final twelve, so that's a good sign.

I think Eoghan has a great voice, he has a nice tone/twang if thats the right word for it to it, don't think we have seen best of him yet. Also he doesn't appear fazed by it all, and is not bursting into tears at every opportunity, and so polite too (like us all from Northern Ireland haha). Think Cheryl was a bit shocked when in answering Louis on Saturdays show asked him how he was too, nice kid

I noticed that as well, kaz. I thought that was a great touch. Usually when a judge says "How are you?" the act just says "nervous" (or whatever) and then they start singing but Eoghan was the only one I saw asking a judge how they were as well.

He does seem very polite, but I just hope that he doesn't do a Niki from last year and start believing his own hype. If he remains calm and cool-headed then I think he'll become very popular with the audience.

I'm still gutted that Duane Lamonte didn't get through, but i'm pleased with the three boys anyway. Not *too* keen on Austin but Scott had a good voice and Eoghan is my firm #1 favourite.

umm i don't think he will, he seems well grounded. Im actually very impressed about how hes handling it all especially when older and more experienced ones are cracking up. I remember Simon really loved Sean, but Sean was just too nervous, nothing seems to faze Eoghan, not a bad thing really

Aye Austin has a good voice, but he gets on my wick, crying all the time, you like jeez will you quit it lol

I liked him in his audition, he has a good voice for a 15 year old

Yeah think if he gets thru to final 12 he can do well. I can't believe ones on other thread slatting him, jeez they have only heard the kid sing a few lines at most. They have no idea what he can and can't do and saying hes going to crack up and cry, aye cos hes been doing a lot of that so far, oops no thats Austin lol

Does anyone know that the "theme" will be for the first live show? Last year's was "classic #1 hits", wasn't it?
