please don't say that - the lad impressed both my wife and I, despite his age - we don't want another nerve-wracked contestant who only gets going half way through the series - the lad has talent, so let's hope he comes out of the blocks at full pelt, not wobbling and staggering past better performing contestants on unfair criteria.

Very much like Leon in terms of a lot of people believing he can't win, yet the votes pouring in anyway. Think he has a great chance of winning, and he's a great kid - good luck to him.

exactly, not everyone has to have the same singing style, bit of variety is good. but i do think people are forgetting at his first audtion, cheryl did say to him that he had a good range to his voice, we have only heard a few lines here and there from him so far, and obviously judges will of heard more

Hopefully Simon gives him something safe, at least. Simon usually takes alot of risks (like giving Leona 'Lady Marmalade', giving Same Difference all those catchy cheesy songs, giving Futureproof old classics etc).

I dont mind him being in the top 12 at all. He has a good enough voice that he could do well with the right songs, and he has the kind of image/personality that tends to work for a young popstar. I think he will easily get to the 2nd week of the season.
