Refurbs

Hi all.
I'm thinking of buying a refurb TV from Misco. Does anybody have any experience of this?
Are they likely to have been repaired?
I dont mind this so much as long as they have a warranty and are not cosmetically damaged.
Any opinions please.
Thanks
Jeff

For a start they won't be 'refurbs' they will be warranty returns which have been 'repaired' (hopefully) - as they are effectively second hand they may have cosmetic damage, which wouldn't be covered by a repair unless it's serious.

Some may even have been returned because the customer couldn't work it, but if it was returned for an intermittent fault it's quite likely it's still faulty.

I wouldnt touch a "refurb" or a "repaired" with a 10ft barge pole. Go for a brand new set. They are cheap enough now. You can get 42" plasma tv's for £500 now.

Comet did have an offer on - 40" LCD Sony and Bluray player for £699 (dont know if its still on or not) but what a good buy that is
