I got a compilation CD called Totally Rock - The Essential Rock Album and it has a really great track on it called Fall to Love by a band called Diesel Park West.

Does anybody know anything about them?

Good band from Leicester I think.
Bought a couple of singles of theirs late 80's /early 90's -Like Princes Do and All The Myths On Sunday.
Both came close to making the Top 40 but just missed out

I've got an album - FreakGene - of theirs - don't play it a lot but it's not too bad.

Just checked the sleeve notes and they say that it's their fifth album!

They were signed to Food Records, as were Jesus Jones, but never really took off. I'm still looking for a couple of copies of the 'When the Hoodoo Comes' fly poster, one for me, one for my dad. A great bit of graphic design.

Are they still recording??

Matt...

I have the CD single of "Fall To Love" - it was one of the first singles I bought on CD. great value too, as it has "When The Hoodoo Comes" (almost U2 sounding on that track) and "All the Myths On Sunday" which were two earlier singles by them.

Unfortunately, they just never took off and I'd be surprised if they were still around today.
