I signed up to the BB SMS service from the official BB site. Since then I've had two SMS messages in one week. Pretty poor.

There are SMS vouchers that can be bought in the shops, bit like the Pay as you Go vouchers - you enter the code number of the voucher on the site and then you get 2 weeks of updates - I think they cost £4.99.

Has anyone found any shops selling these - I've looked in all the big supermarkets round here (as they all sell mobile phone vouchers) but haven't yet looked at some of the main high street shops.

Has anyone used one of these vouchers? Are they worth the money?

Katie.

I think it is simply that they want people to buy the £4.99 vouchers so that they can get the cash!

Last year I signed up to the SMS service and got at least one message every two days, sometimes one a day.

Unsurprisingly WH Smiths knew nothing about the vouchers - fortunately the BT Phone shop had an advert in the window - such a nice woman served me - she wanted to chat for ages about BB, asking me who I want to win etc etc.

So I activated my voucher, already had one message - didn't go for the ringtone or icons but chose the diary room updates, pyscho-analyst reports and behind the scenes news. If I at least get the service they've advertised then the £4.99 will be well spent. If not, well it's only just more than a packet of ciggies.
