I have noticed that most Laptops have started using glossy LCD screens, which I assume is to give a better image. Sonys technology is called X-Black.

Does anyone think that LCD TVs will follow a similar path in the near future. I know that Samsung had one model with a glossy screen, but I have not seen any more.

Views anyone?

Would that not just give you glare and reflection problems? (Like many plasma owners currently have)
