Where are the "interim" contestants?

Where are the freaks?
It may be just my imagination, but we seem to be seeing all no-hopers/rejects or ones who are almost certain to be among the final few. Dave |

Hi Dave,
Some of the successful auditionees we've seen so far such as Alan Turner and Alex from Bridgend sound to me like interim contestants, but you're right, they may do well because of their stories - or they may be dropped after the interest in them runs out like I'm sure Shirley the Louis Lover will be. There have been a few montages of other successful auditionees like Shauna and Marika - Shauna sounded like an interim contestant to me, and I think Marika would be in too direct comparison with Alex Burke who the judges seem to be rooting for, for her (Marika) to do well herself. Some of them may though, as Alisha and Daniel for example, weren't shown much during auditions but did end up making the finals, and there were a few at the judges houses last year who were the same like Victoria and I Sette Cantante. |

We saw more 'interim' contestants in show 2-
Alan turner, liam, eogan- (think hes gonna get far but i thought he was mediocre), girl band And then- alexandra bridge end girl. Of montage i agree with faria- shauna, marika (marika too much competition). Non interim contestants- Alexandra Rachel Austin JLS Montage- jade, aimee hargreaves, marlin M, black girl at end of last show (cant remember name). |

Alexandra Burke. I enjoyed the first part of her audition (though she didn't sound any better than 3 years ago to me) but I didn't like the second half, and it made me laugh how she picked the aame song which she sang last time, but she will go far, you can tell

Where are the auditionees who are good enough to get to boot camp but not picked for the finals? I'm sure we used to see more of these.

I agree. Its not even subtle this year. You can tell a mile off who the chosen ones are given how much they have featured.
Even when they were in the groups of 5 you only got to hear the special one then said one was talked about over the other contestants. |
