Bad idea - "all your eggs in one basket", buy separates.

Having separate boxes and the connecting wires would look ugly where I intend to put the TV, so I really liked the idea of just one plug and one aerial cable.

As Nigel says though, you are better off with separates.

How often do you want to replace it?.

TV's with in-built DVD players have a VERY short life, it's rare to see one where the DVD still works.
