I've Lost My Rolling Pin!

What can I use to roll things until I buy a new one?

Think the wine bottle suggestion is probably the best bet, failing that, if you;ve got any air freshener type sprays, they might do, roughly the same dimensions as a rolling pin. Fly spray might not be a good idea though!

Incidentally, how do you lose a rolling pin? Not the kind of thing that can slip under the sofa cushion!

Did you know that you have to be 16 or more years of age to purchase a rolling pin from Sainsburys!!??? LOL!

I use my roll of cling-film, as I don't own a rolling pin.

your roll of kitchen foil is good too. Roll it the right way though so it doesn't unroll

Are you sure you're OH hasn't hidden it

I use a big glass coffee jar, soak off the label,
I have just rubbed over it with flour in the past though and used it with the label still on Pastry didn't stick to it. A jam jar does as well but its trickier as its a lot smaller.
