Pontins Bluecoat Scott Bruton looks a hot prospect on tonights show. The 19 year old from Manchester is being tipped for success. Will Simon say "Yes" to the lad? Doe's dawn follow night?

He will be singing, You'll never walk alone. Apparently Simon hates that song, but it won't matter.

He's always enjoyed performances of it on XF as far as I can remember, including one by his own act Ray Quinn in S3. Simon changes his mind whenever it suits him anyway - let's just hope this Scott guy is a decent singer

My first thought was what is a blue coat? a cheap red coat?
I don't think he will go far as I didn't see much charisma or personality.
He did have a nice voice.

I like that song but I thought he butchered it a bit. His voice was rather bland. A bit tuneless.

I thought he was awful .. don't know what the judges were raving over ... like Simon often says "distinctly average"

I think he is probably far better singing something a bit more modern - it was too old fashioned. He also has looks on his side, and seemed like a nice enough chap too.

His voice was far too flawed. However experience has shown that it's not a bar to winning

Apparently he's fantastic at bootcamp (this is a rumour, though, not confirmed).

I thought that his voice wasn't good enough for You'll Never Walk Alone, but possibly suited to other styles. So, it depends what else he can do.

As long as he does not sing Unchained Melody he will be ok.

Bluecoat Scott Bruton sparked chaos at Gatwick Airport last week when he went AWOL from his X Factor group. He was apparently threatened with being kicked out of the show after doing a runner. He turned up later and said he just wanted some space by himself. A Pontins bluecoat wanting to be alone? Whatever next.

Looks bad for Scott. He has been pushed out to 66/1.

Scott Bruton is nowi into 14/1 from 66/1 but there are alot of non-runners in the field.. Expect Scott to close in the final furlong and win by a short head.
