Dan comes across as a pretty decent guy to me. He doesn't bash and say nasty things about the other hg. Yes, he treats everything like a game, but so what, it is a game. I'd say at least half of the other people who have been in the house this season are worse then him.

I don't like Dan all that much anymore, dislike his 'playing weak' strategy.
I hate the way he never stood up for himself with Jerry, and he shouldn't have made that stupid deal with Ollie and then reneged on it. He's now pissed off the whole house - both his side for making the deal in the first place, and the other side for breaking it. I don't think he can win anymore. |

I like Dan and he is playing a game, in a gameshow, so nothing wrong with that. IMHO he would have been stupid to stick to the deal and put Keesha up, as she is one of his stronger allies. I agree with "Themanwholaughs" Dan and Renny for the final 2!

No way i truly dislike Dan.
The way he went on a power trip during veto comp during his HOH was ridiculous. ![]() Also some of his game play is good but he ****s it up with his attitude. I hope he is evicted this week. |

Dan is great and has played a smart game. Dan doesn't talk trash about people, doesn't bitch on a personal level and hasn't cussed anyone out, unlike the majority of them.
He played weak at first because he had to, his Brian alliance fell apart week one. But now he's stepped up and is playing strong, he had to do what he did at the last Veto ceremony to get some of the heat off of himself and it worked. Plus so what if he's Catholic? At least he doesn't try to throw it in your face like housemates in the past, he admits that he has lied and gone back on his word. I hope Dan can make it through this week, he's the most popular housemate and I really want him to win. |

What has he done that's so terrible? I can see how he can be annoying but I don't think he's a bad person. I like him most of the time and I think he's a smart player. But, I think he killed any chance he had of winning when he was HOH, he'll have too many enemies now at the jury. Though he could still make the final and get second, I guess.
I know it would've been dumb to stick to the deal with Ollie, realistically there was no way he'd nominate Keesha, but it was stupid to even make that deal in the first place. But since he did make the deal, he has had to lie and make enemies for himself. It's a shame because I thought he was playing a perfect game before until last week. I know he's stabbed people in the back, lied etc. but that's part of the game. Dan doesn't do it for personal reasons though, he does it purely for strategic reasons. And so what if he's Catholic? I agree with what Redmond said. Dan isn't all holier-than-thou and I think he's a much better representation of a religious person than people who go in and play up to thir religion. There have been much worse people on the show IMO. Too many to even name them all.

On most popularity polls Dan is leading by just under 50%, Keesha and Renny close behind and then Memphis. So I think even if Dan doesn't make it to the final two and is on the Jury he'll probably win America's Vote if they do they $25,000 give away again.
I don't think Dan has blown his chances of winning, I'd like to think if he made Final 2 he'd definitely give a great speech, tell people all the moves he made and if they have had time to get over their emotions, then they may just vote on who played the best and if Dan is in Final 2 it would have been him. |

I tried - but I missed out so many horrible ones (including April, Jerry, Michelle and Ollie )Dan's an okay guy but one of the least subtle players ever - he made himself a target repeatedly (and accidentally) repeatedly (first week with Brian; then with his poor America's Player coverup, then the aftermath with Jerry) and doesn't know how to mend fences. I think even Zach was better than him. Dan's only shot of winning would be taking Jerry - otherwise Michelle/April/Jerry/Ollie will control the votes and Dan did such a terrible job alienating them all, I don't think any of them would vote his way,. |

I don't like Dan.
I get the feeling his trying to be like Will. On the other hand at least he does something, Memphis has done very little. |

The thing is, until he screwed Ollie, Dan was playing it well. Since then he's been a bit of a git, but he makes the show so I hope he sticks around a bit.
Hes a certainty for Allstars 2 though, agreed? |

I like Dan, think he's great.
A good player in the House, as he's manipulated situations to get his own way, but awful with appealing to the jury, as he's just about turned every evictee against him. So don't think he's got a chance for the win. |

So don't think he's got a chance for the win. Memphis played well too, got out of bad situations in the beginning of the game, didn't panic, laid somewhat low, and then made a good ally. I think Dan is modelling himself after Dr. Will - he keeps saying $50K is enough for him, but we know that is not true. No one will ever beat the tactics and the charm of Dr. Will, though. |

I have been a huge fan of Dan since Day 1 of the competiton
It has to be hard to come in as a Catholic and stay true to your teachings If he had played it like a straight religious person..he should not even have stepped inside the house as he would be ousted 1-2-3 Name me one time completely honest and naive have ever won this game.... Dan is intelligent and has made the game worth watching as he struggles with proper decisions (although some of his antics havent helped - Roulette was atrocious) As the weeks have drawn on I have come to also appreciate Memphis and am fully on The Renegade bandwagon |
