I am in the process (for the umpteenth time) of either junking altogether or upgrading important (to me) titles on a massive millstone around my neck stack of stuff on VHS blank tapes. I've bought a shedload of stuff in the last two weeks and most recently as of yesterday took receipt of Nic Roeg's Bad Timing (DVD) - quite a lovely, anarmophic print and a true revelation in its full ratio, as one would expect from his eye - and the Blu-Ray of the 1950 Quo Vadis, again a pictorial revelation in this format although not all of the transfer is completely pristine.

Jurassic Park Trilogy on Blu Ray from Game for just under a tenner. Read a lot of negative reviews before I purchased, complaining about the picture transfer but I think all three look stunning. The sound in particular is just superb. And more bonus features to shake a stick at

Star Trek & Star Trek Into Darkness, in a Bluray Bundle, it was £15 for Into Darkness. I couldn't help myself for an extra fiver, lol .

I'm holding out for the 3D blu-ray of the original, which is coming out at Christmas, I think. By all accounts it's a very strong conversion and I'm not fussed about the sequels.

Picked up Brides of Dracula/Evil of Frankenstein blu rays for a tenner apiece today, which I was quite chuffed about.
