The League of Gentlemen (1960), on DVD. Not sure if I'm going to keep it for myself, or use it as a Christmas present (I could always borrow it later on!). Whatever happens, it's an old favourite of mine.

This week I've also bought:-

Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Blu-ray theatrical versions) - £5, Sainsbury's.

Brighton Rock (1947 version, Blu-ray), from CeX.

The Great Escape (Blu-ray), also from Cex.

The last two were impulse buys. I have seen both films several times, and really like them, but as for the quality of the Blu-rays themselves......

Fantasia - that was on VHS and it's music. I really do not understand why anyone wants to buy a DVD; rent it, watch it on TV, Watch it twice. But how many times can you watch a film?

As many times as you want when you've bought it. Also the extras.

Same goes for books, eh?

Didn't the value incure you import duties? Do you know why the blu rays aren't released in the uk?
