Early finish at work today and when I got home my Blu-ray of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, pre-ordered from Amazon quite a while ago, was sitting on the floor.

Also got Sicario and It Follows on Blu-ray the weekend.

"Bhaji On The Beach". I liked this last century on VHS. I didn't enjoy it the second time around.

Was going to buy The Force Awakens but i already have A New Hope, so why would i need doubles?

What i did buy was X Men Days Of Future Past: The Rogue Cut and the highly, highly, HIGHLY underrated thriller Copycat with Holly Hunter & Sigourney Weaver.

I bought American Hustle. Enjoyed it. Excellent portrayal of life in the Seventies. Well, a seedy and corrupt life !

The Omega Man (1971)
Network (1976)
We Were Soldiers (2001)
Mrs Henderson Presents (2005)

The X Files: I Want To Believe (2008)

.......from a local charity shop who are still selling their 'standard case size' DVDs and Blu-rays for 4 for £1. Long may it continue.

Same here but we can't get ours to play, any ideas ?

Put it in the player and it comes up select language - we select English but then nothing happens, the character just stays on the screen, it won't let us stop or do anything - only thing we can do is eject.

Any ideas ???

If you haven't already done so, update the firmware on your Blu-ray player. If it still doesn't work, try the disc on a different player (if possible).

I pre-ordered the Lightside Edition, am watching it right now.

I'm going to pre-order Deadpool too, and am waiting to pickup Suffragette.

I don't know, but it's worth a try. I had to update the firmware on my Panasonic Blu-ray player because it suddenly developed a fault where it I had to load every disc twice, because the menu would freeze on the first load. Updating the firmware fixed that.
