The League of Gentlemen series 2
The Missing (2003)
Payback (1999)
Pitch Black (2000)
The Silence of the Lambs (1991, 2 disc)

Have you counted yet how many DVD's/Blu-Rays you have so far?
No, and I don't keep lists.

Also picked up:-

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
House of Fools (No, not the Vic and Bob sitcom. A 2002 Russian film about a psychiatric hospital)
A Killing in a Small Town (1990 tv movie, starring Brian Dennehy)
El Mariachi + Desperado (2 films on 1 disc)
Rear Window (1998 Christopher Reeve version. Will be intersting to compare it with the original film, which I've watched many times)
Roman Holiday
SAW 3 Extreme Edition
SAW 4 Extreme Edition
WIng Commander (1999 film supposedly based on the PC game series)

You reckon? It's a long time since I've watched it, but I remember thinking it was pretty good.

The Strawberry Blonde (James Cagney and Olivia De Havilland)

or as it says on the cover 'La Pelirroja'

I just hope that it plays in English without subtitles as it stated on the website. I'm not a Cagney fan but I do love this film and I think that this Spanish copy is the closest I will come to owning it.

Ghostbusters / Ghostbusters 2 - 4k Dual-pack. Two blu ray films for the price of one ($10) is a bargain.

I've been buying the individual series of New Tricks second hand. Got series 1 to 5 so far. Love the original cast.

re. Zulu Dawn on DVD. I just tried it, and it's picture quality is one of the worst I've ever seen (Although not quite as abysmal as something like 'The Return of Josey Wales'). A waste of 29p, anyway.

Just to update on the GOT dvd's. I knew something wasn't right about the whole getting them 6 weeks early thing. I think to keep his reputation intact I got a ebay refund from the seller. Should have known going through his history he was selling the exact same DVD'S for 14.90......................

That's one of my favourite films. Great cast.

I got, 4 for £1.........

Casualties of War
Conan the Barbarian (2011)
Hot Shots! + Hot Shots! Part Deux (2 disc set)
Kick-Ass

..........and I'm not buying any more. I have far too many discs now. Taking into account stuff I like and will re-watch, I probably have enough here to last me for a decade or thereabouts.

You Only Live Twice (1967)
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
Licence To Kill (1989)

There's a bit of a Bond pattern forming here, I know, lol. These are some of my favourite Bond films. However, I also bought :-

Carry On - The Ultimate Collection

I bought all of these DVDs from Amazon. We don't have a HMV store near to where I live anymore. The Carry On DVD was a boxset and was supposed to contain "all 30 Carry On Films", yet didn't include Carry On Columbus. Maybe that wasn't a bad thing after all, though.

I saw a trailer for Triple 9 today; it was on the preview reel for Dark Places and the cast looks pretty solid. I purchased that from amazon, along with Book of Life as I keep seeing the Microsoft surface advert advertising it and I've always wanted to see it!

Nottingham has a new CEX in the Victoria centre so I managed to pick up --
Brother Bear
Bad Neighbours
Dark Zero Thirty
Contagion
True Blood season 1

All under £15. Pretty pleased with that.
