Simon has advised Cheryl to leave Girls Aloud
Reckons the X Factor is a bigger gig for her.
Didn't he order Dermot to quit BB under a similar vain? Let's face it. Cheryl is going to have zero success at a solo career so may as well take Simon's advice and launch a career in TV. |

Girls Aloud will probably split up soon anyway but I hope they have another couple of years

I reckon 1 last album this year, possibly a tour next year & then that'll be it, leaving Cheryl to concentrate on the X Factor full time.

Simon can f**k right off! The X Factor will hardly last forever either. And I doubt Cheryl would do that to the other girls. If GA end naturally then fair enough and I'm glad Cheryl has The X Factor now to fall back on, but no way should TXF take priority over The Aloud.

Girls aloud would survive without Cheryl anyway. If Nadine left, then I doubt Girls aloud would survive

Cheryl's the fan favourite, gets the most press and the second most lines in all the songs. She's every bit as important as Nadine to Girls Aloud.

I just wish Simon would advise Cheryl to quit television and pop music altogether and become a sales assistant in a travel agency in some obscure town, so that we won't have to endure her prissy, slightly aggressive and narcisstic non-personality any more.

Telling someone to quit a cable show is one thing, telling someone to quit a successful pop group is quite another.
Somehow I don't believe it. I'm going to give Simon some credit here and say this is false. |

This must come from Walsh comment last week when he said 'I think Cheryl will leave Girls Aloud'
Simon is busy right now in the US and I haven't seen him say anything aobut The X Factor now. |
