Tips or instructions for recording from a sky+ box

Hi,

We have several programmes on our Sky+ box that we do not wish to lose.

I think I am correct in saying that we can download these to another medium.

I assume we need a DVD recorder??

Any tips on setting this up so that it can record from the Sky+ box.

We do not currently own a recordable device so will need to purtchase something suitable.

Many thanks.

You will need a VCR or DVD recorder to copy the programmes you wish to keep.

It's a straight forward scart connection between the DVD recorder and the Sky box.

Use the 'Copy' function to transfer the programmes over.

Actually, don't use the "copy" function as there's a known problem with aspect ratios. Just play the programme as you would normally, and hit RECORD on your DVD recorder.
