videosender interference
just got a videosender and I'm getting terrible interference. I get a perfect picture but with systematic interference - 3 clicks and breakups in the picture every time - every second or so. has anyone got any ideas about what might be interfering with it? all I know is that it's not my mobile and it's not the microwave

Do you have a cordless Dect phone? they can cause troubles...
Some videosenders can change the channel that they use... maybe you could try that? |

Do you have a Bluetooth phone, or Wireless Computer network?
If so they also operate on the same frequency band (as does your microwave oven) Try turning these off |

I've tried moving them, yeah. funny thing is that I get absolutely no interference when I try to run it through my TV card which is about 6 feet away

My video sender hates the microwave and I had to change frequencies with the switch at the back to sort it out.
It also helps if the transmitter unit can be as high as possible - eg on top of the TV - and not amongst the video cabinet somewhere. Some occasional flashing on the receiving unit was traced to the SCART lead not sittingly firmly enough at the remote TV - now sorted. A bit of trial and error I'm afraid... |
