my throat and mouth swell and itch (my ears go itchy too - argh!) when i eat some nuts, apples, apricots, nectarines, plums, cherries.

It's called Oral Allergy Syndrome and derives from my hayfever (basically my system gets confused and is in some kind of histemic overdrive ).

I got galactoseamia,( it's not an alergy) inwhich i can't digest any dairy products, esp latose(thats the main ingredient), so i got to stick to a soya diet all me life..
There is cheeses i can have on the diet, hence why i have me lasagne with it all the time..lol, but aapart from that im healthy

Liquorice allsorts make my throat itch like made and make me sneeze. Sometimes when I drink alcohol I get really hot and my cheeks burning red. It's weird as It's not always and I can't pin point it to one drink. It's embarrassing so I don't drink any longer. Never happened years ago.

My cousin was like that with mint sweets like polo mints..Every time she had one she used to sneeze..Not sure whats she like now thou..

I itch all the time and always have some sort of rash in some place or the other. I have been told I am allergic to asprin, which apparently some foods have naturally, such as tomatoes, sweetcorn, certain alchoholic drinks.

I have to take anti-histamines all the time.

Fresh strawberries, they give me the trots. I can eat tinned strawberries though with no ill effects. Does this count as an allergy. While we're on the subject of food allergies and dislikes, I can't stand parsnips or mushrooms.
