I used to but i've gone off it. Infact I now prefer veggie pizzas, usually with plenty of garlic butter

One of the problems around here is that most of the take aways now use the automatic pizza maker that puts it through on a conveyor belt. You can't now get a nice thin crust pizza with a crispy base because they are not using the ovens.

I guess they only use these devices because it stops them burning them, but it takes away from the real taste.

I like Pepperoni on a Pizza, but not on it's own, find it too much. Plus agree that you can't get a decent thin crust pizza anywhere these days.

If I was ever forced to turn veggie, I think peperoni pizza would be one of the things I'd miss the most. Maybe even more than bacon sarnies.

Pizza wouldn't be the same without it, IMO!

I mis-read the OP's name as 'petretard'.

Although, reading his post, that might actually be more fitting.

Im a pepperoni fan too, although i dont have it often. My husband HATES pizza, but if he really has to have one, it needs to be ham and pineapple.

The only time i get pepperoni is if i get one from a take away .... so thats about once a year !

It's certainly the most Elvis-like food you can get, there can't be many other commonly available dishes with more calories in them then a pepperoni pizza, like eating a full English breakfast covered in mayonnaise.

I bet Chicken Tikka Massala runs it close.

I don't particularly like pizza. It is alright, if I have to have it but if I had a choice I wouldn't have it.

I tend to eat Pizza about once a year.

The tomato sauce on the base counts as salad

Vom. How people can have pineapple on a pizza is beyond me.

I don't see why. A pizza is just a base for toppings of your choice. You may like meat toppings such as Pepperoni or Ham or even Chicken. You can have veg such as Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms. And you can have the "exotic" stuff such as Anchovies, Olives and pineapple.

I can't stand Olives. I also don't really enjoy Ham on pizzas. If i'm eating an Hawaiian i'd be happy picking off the Ham and just having the Pineapple
Each to their own

I can't agree with Pizza and Chips. Pizza is a meal on itself, there isn't any need for Chips.

That depends on the pizza. We get some strange ones up here. You have have a cheesy chip pizza which is a Margherita with chips & glaric sauce and you can get a London which is steak & chips

You sound like my OH
He is always baffled as to why I have chips with things. Like pizza! Even if I'm getting a chicken fried rice from the Chinese I have it with chips.
Think he's given up on asking me why I do it now

Because the pizza was only small! I had a bit of rocket on the side of the plate too

What about if you have half a pizza? Is it alright to have chips then?
