Breakfast - Do You Eat It ?
I have to say that I rarely eat brekkie. On a weekend i might have a bacon sarnie or some toast at around 11am. But during the week, i havent been able to face having breakfast before work.
Until this week. I have made a concious decision to try and eat brekkie as i feel quite sluggish at work normally around 10.30am. I then tend to eat my lunch early, so im starving at 4pm, and then i snack. So i have stocked up on breakfast cereals and bought plenty of milk. Plus i have just bought some blackcurrent jam for toast (my fav) to tempt me at 8am. So - do you have brekkie, and what do you generally have ? |

I try, I really do but I just can't face it first thing.
I will eat a banana or 2/3 Rich Tea biscuits later in the morning. |

I have a slice of wholemeal toast every work day about 10:30, with lashings of Lurpack light. Its always the nicest slice of toast ever
![]() Weekends I tend to eat later and its usually bacon baguettes of wholemeal pitta's with melted cheese and sliced tomatoes - a little variation on the usual cheese on toast

I'm never up early enough to have breakfast. If I feel peckish when I get up I usually have a glass of milk and a biscuit or pop tart

I always have breakfast every day, without fail!
Week days I eat about 8am and have a bowl of cereal (or toast if the milk runs out!) Weekends, I eat a little later and have eggs, or pastries. I feel really weak if I don't eat in the mornings! |

Two slices of Toast with Apricot Jam or Lemon/Lime marmalade and a cup of tea.
I love a cooked English breakfast, but i wouldn't thank you for it as soon as i've got up..... way too early for all that. Two hours later though.......

Not regularly, sometimes I'll have some raw oats with low fat yoghurt and fruit or dried fruit (porridge in winter), occassionally I'll just have some cinnamon cookies (terrible I know!) and sometimes just fruit but more days than not I just have loads of black coffee! The rest of my day does tend to be healthier though and if I've had a cookie breakfast I'll just eat raw veg and fruit for lunch.
I should add I work from home each morning so maybe that makes the difference. |

On a work day I usually have something light like a banana or yogurt or smoothie at 6.00am when I get up, I have my proper breakfast (cereal or toast and fruit) at 10.00am at my break in work. On a non work day I never eat breakfast, I usually don't eat before 12.00pm, this is probably because I'm not up as early as I am on a work day.

Cup of tea, no sugar when I get up about 7am.
Breakfast is about an hour later, usually a banana and either raspebrries or strawberries with another cup of tea. Along with a latte mid morning, that keeps me going until lunch time. If I've run out of fruit I'll have a couple of Ryvita with marmalade, no butter. I try not to eat too much bread. |

Breakfast is the main meal of the day. Usually 3 or 4 eggs scrambled with butter and cream, a few slices of fried bacon, maybe a bit of kidney chucked in, coffee with cream and coconut oil. Very filling and satisfying and keeps hunger at bay until at least 5pm.

My breakfast is just porridge and honey. Porridge done in the microwave takes two minutes and then honey added.

I normally have a bowl of cereal - I feel very hungry later in the morning if I haven't eaten breakfast.

I like porridge, toast with apple and clove jelly or apricot jam. We also have a variety of cereals to choose from, I don't think I could go without breakfast, I like my grub too much.

All the time it being the most important meal (and generally yummier than lunch). Cereal generally.
Good way to eat being: Eat like a king at Breakfast, Prince at Lunch, Pauper at Dinner Stack up at brek due to your body processing the food better and youll be fit for the day |

I usually don't have anything - unless I'm on holiday (and/or hungover, as above) - maybe sometimes a slice of toast and few gulps of tea before dashing out of the house. I then raid the biscuit tin at work. I really should make more of an effort but I generally don't like cereal-types food, I'm usually not that hungry when I get up and I have better things to do at 7am than cook. |

Always used to have cereal for breakfast, but now it's just a glass of water and an Actimel, then a banana mid-morning.

I always have breakfast, its my biggest meal of the day. Porridge with dried fruit in the week and at the weekend i have either poached egg and smoked salmon or kippers. I can last all day on my breakfast.

Always eat breakfast, to avoid starting my lunch at 10am! Usually cereal (choice of Weetabix, Fruit n Fibre, Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes) and a cup of tea at about 7am on work days, and saturdays, now I try and have bacon, eggs, sausage and beans on a sunday morning as a treat!! That really fills you up and keeps me going until dinner time early evening.
