Hmmm....dare I ask if Craig could go to Hull or doesn't he know where it is? Only trouble is, there's no Waterstones in Hull.

Only kidding. From the bits I've read, it sounds a good read and rather more interesting than Len-reminiscing-about-dancing-during-the-general-Strike.

The book is released tomorrow? hallelujah! Hands up everyone who'll skip straight to the 'Strictly' bits first...

Me!

He's got quite a colourful past though so should be a good read.

Craig's autobiography should be colourful to say the least, but I think I'll wait a few months until it starts appearing in the discount book shops for a couple of quid, then I'll buy it, and Len's as well!

It's supposed to be released today, but still showing up on Amazon as a pre-order

Craig is appearing on This Morning with Phil and Fern at 10.30ish talking about his book. I had to press sky+ quick as I was just leaving for work.

I taped it, will just have a quick look to see if it's worth youtubing.

Edit: According to the opening titles, Craig will be on at 11.30.

Just on now, pretty interesting interview- talking about his (pretty colourful) life, not just about being on Strictly.

Sorry though, won't be able to upload this one.

I took a few notes:
He was wearing gold shoes.
They showed a few clips of his comments on SCD – e.g. saying that Willie was like a walrus.
He didn’t make any personal comments about anyone during the interview though.
He just said that he is not an acid-tongued, queeny bitch – he is just passionate about dance and honest. Arlene is really the nasty judge!
He is qualified to judge as a director/choreographer, having worked his way up from the bottom.
In real life he nurtures dance companies.
He talked a bit about his childhood – alcoholic Dad – abusive – sadly still an alcoholic.
Used to dress up at home.
Did an apprenticeship as a cook – met a very rich ‘sugar daddy’ and that financed his training and enabled him to leave Australia.
He wanted to write the book and be absolutely honest so that the media could not take any of the details and ‘bombastically’ put their spin on events.
He is gay, but he was married at one point.
They showed a few photos and also talked about his new show opening soon at the Lyric.
Sounds like the book will be a great read – out today and he mentioned the signing next week.

Actually I kind of agree about Arlene. Craig can be pretty mean at times but I think Arlene is more personal with her insults.

Maybe it will be on the website... unfortunately I either absent-mindedly switched it off, or the cat walked over the remote when I wasn't looking, because it stopped recording!

Presumably you can watch it on ITV catch up or whatever they call it. He was very funny on the assistant chef bit with Phil Vickery. And quite rude
