Yes.. Toshiba XE1 and an excellent upscaling DVD player it is too. However I have been buying discounted HDDVD movies for 2.99 like crazy.

Yep, the XE1 although it's the rack next to the TV and an EP35 boxed in the spare room and a PC drive that can play HD DVD as well

EP30 here

HD DVDs I have look good, and it does a good job of upscaling (though, the player I replaced it with (SD280 i think) was probably just as good)

I looked at buying up some cheap HD DVD bargains, but I couldnt see anything at all that I'd want :S, the only things I was interested in I already had on SD DVD, so wasnt much point.

I'm in the middle of a complete system overhaul and have recently taken delivery of a new HTPC which will play both HD-DVD & Blu-Ray. I'll probably get stuck in to the HD-DVD bargain titles before they disappear forever.

EP-30 just for the upscaling and the price at the time, I don't own a single HD-DVD, happy with the upscaling as is.
