A RAINY New Year's Eve reduced Pembrokeshire's number of open-air revellers......Although thousands of people were in celebratory mood, many waited until minutes before midnight to go outside pubs, clubs and private houses to see in 2004. But Fishguard - riding high on its national newspaper reputation as the third best place to celebrate the New Year - bucked the county trend.
Crowds shrugged off the weather to enjoy live entertainment in the Square, where dancing went on into the early hours. Around 3,000 people joined in the fun, among them `Big Brother' stars Alex Sibley, who finished third in the 2002 series, and Melanie Hill, who was in the 2000 programme.....
