Switching broadband suppliers

I am with Pipex Homecall (ex Bulldog), which is a LLU package and not listed as a BT number. What is the easiest way to switch suppliers without getting a new line?

hmm, depends.. If you have line rental AND broadband in one package and still want both, then go to someone like change2save.co.uk and sign up with them for an LLU package. Then tell your existing provider your leaving! No MAC code is needed. If you want to split them again however then you may well find that you need to pay £138 to be re-assigned to the BT network even if you dont take your line rental to BT! It seems that once you have an LLU bundle, you get stuck with it. You can switch it but if you ever think of trying to cancell just the broadband it becomes a minefield.. Hope that helps.. Antony
