I asked this question in other sections with no luck, I wonder if you guys here can help.
I am considering getting a Sony Reader this month but as I know nothing about ebooks I have some questions.
1) As far as i'm aware this will work with the Mac and appear as a mass storage device so I can just drag and drop ebooks onto it like an MP3 player?
2) My problem is alot of ebooks kicking about are .lit (MS Format) so I'm looking for the best program to convert this to a more universal format? (or atleast one that works with the sony device)
3) Also what's the best place to buy ebooks, i'm looking for a good range of books at a good price with preferably no drm?
4) I think the biggest Memory Stick Duo the unit can take is 8GB, where is the cheapest place to buy this and are the newer Mark2 memory stick duos compatible? (best I found is this SanDisk 8GB for £34.99 free delivery -

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:
In answer to question 2, I found a program for the Mac and Windows called
Stanza, It's free and does conversions very quickly.
I also found a website that can convert HTML to epud -
