Decca Widescreen tvs?
Are they any good? A relation saw one in his local Kwik Save for £199.99. He says it's a flat widescreen 28" Stereo. Sounds too good to be true

They are Tatungs rebadged for the UK market - Decca is a piece of nostalgia for people of a certain age in this country.
For £199, it's not a bad deal - subject to all the usual caveats about buying from a supermarket... |

Tatungs were (and probably still are) made in the UK and although more basic in design than the likes of Sony or Panasonic, they perform ok.
It's possible that they're now made elsewhere, but there are at least a lot of Tatung dealers about, so you should get it fixed if it went wrong (how many Yamadas, or other such supermarket brands are really repairable?) Decca was a UK brand taken over by Tatung in 1981.... Tatung are a huge Taiwanese company that's well establsihed since the early 1900's Tatung TV's HERE |

Maybe the T28WH82 listed on the Tatung site is the Decca you are interested in?
