It was only a few weeks ago that I came across her songs and WOW she is amazing!! Any fans on here?

I wouldn't say I was a 'fan' as such but, yep, love Sarah Brightman's voice, just stunning. I listen to her music quite often, have done for many years going back to the days of Phantom of the Opera when it first became popular.
You might like Hayley Westenra and Josh Groban too if you like that genre, those are two others I listen to regularly.

That's one of the only songs I can recall her in and it's really good. I like her Italian accent. It's a shame that the song goes in to English for the chorus.
I know she did some pop in the 80s but I can't really remember them. A clip of one of them was shown on Buzzcocks and that's as much as i've seen.

She's a good singer, but I wish the press would stop referring to her as an opera singer. She's never sung in an opera in her life. Its the same with the likes of Charlotte Church, Hayley Westerna etc. They might have operatic-like voices, but they are not opera singers. Actually forget Charlotte Church, she can't sing for toffee.

Have always liked her. I listen to the original London cast recording of Phantom of the Opera quite a bit, in particular.
