TV/Suround Sound Connection Problems.

I have bought a load of home cinema stuff, but because it is ex-display i do not have the manuals. So I am not sure how to connect everything up correctly.

So I will list what i have and their connections, and if anyone could tell me what goes where it would be greatly appreciated.

Plasma Tv with 2 HDMI, 2 Scart, Component, and Optical.

Sky Box with 2 Scart and RF antenna.

PS3 With HDMI, Scart, Optical

Suuround Sound/DVD Bar with HDMI, component, optical.

Right, all I want is the Surround sound to work with everything, as I can't seem to get that bit working.

Any help appreciated.

Have you model numbers for your kit (especially the surround bar). I don't know if the HDMI, component and optical are inputs or outputs which is kinda important.

The Speaker bar is the Samsung HT-X810r

The Tv is the LG 42PC56

The 2 aren't mutually exclusive, you can have ex-display stuff with boxes and manuals.

P22 explains the connections for external equipment. For your PS3 you need to connect by optical. For the Sky use the red and white audio out to connect to the same on your samsung.

Connect the PS3 via HDMI to your TV also. Sky via scart to tv.

EDIT: Oops forgot about the samsung connect that via HDMI to tv also for playback of DVDs
