Very short battery life on Panasonic remote

I've had my Panasonic TH37PX80B for about 6 weeks, and the only thing that isn't fantastic is the remote. The batteries that came with it lasted 3 days, so I put some new alkaline AAs in and they died today, surely 4-5 weeks can't be right??

No - there's definately something wrong.

I've had my 42PX70 for 18 months and still haven't changed the batteries, (and they're cheap Wilkinson branded ones.)

Sounds like the remote is duff, contact your supplier.

Thanks, should I contact Panasonic direct or Digital Direct where I bought it?

The guarantee is via the dealer, you should initially contact them.
