From the latest edition of the Radio Times, comes this comment from our much loved Jade ...

"Of all the legends on TV, Barbara Windsor stands out. She's been through so much, and she's still come out on top. I wish I could get on Eastenders. I've said it a thousand times, and the writers probably think "Jade, shut up, you're not getting a job!" I don't think I'd need to act very much, though - I could just walk on and be the next Bianca!"

Babs Windsor was a Jade supporter last year - it seemed to impress Jade more than her Hollywood supporter Jonny Depp. Maybe Jade is repaying the compliment a bit. I have heard that Jade has an acting job lined up as she impressed theatre bosses with her cheeky stint in a sell-out panto last year. She should carry on with the acting side of things.

Jade has a magical, loveable personality that audiences just love to watch whether she's on stage or on the telly.

In no way employ this minging acting wanabee. I guarantee, if you do that ratings will plunge to new depths!!

Well, she isn't strictly an EastEastender, Burmondsey is South East London but she's closer than most of the cast..
...if Mike Reed can be in it, then why not Jade? she can't be any worse

I don't watch Eastenders either Swing. So I couldn't care less if any ex bber's got a part in it.

Wasn't there talk just after BB of Kate taking over from that Tamzin girl, and didn't Jonny state he wanted to be in Eastender's too.

Surely Our Katie would be suited to an ' Elizabeth Windsor ' type role, more in keeping for the Queen of breakfast TV

I think you'd find Jade, you'd still need to learn a script! In fact, several a week. Poor old Bianca - she wasn't that bad!!

I'd quite like to see Jade get a part on Eastenders and she'd fit in with the cast really well. Acting wouldn't be too difficult for her if she played a part not too far removed from her own personality. Afterall, if Danniella Westbrook could scrape by with the acting, I'm sure Jade could.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Kate's dad call the Eastenders cast "Mickey Mouse actors".

Jade will be acting in the near future. But on what size screen remains to be seen...
