Hi

I applied for tickets last week but didn't receive a confirmation email. I have just realised why. I have just changed my ISP and have a new email address and I have missed some of it out on the application form.

Having read another thread it seems that successful applicants may receive the good news by email and they can't get in touch with me now.

I have searched the website and the only phone number I can find is the main Wood Lane number but that is going straight to answerphone. The ticket line number has disappeared from the booking page and I guess it has been closed now anyway.

As I live near Manchester, if I was to win I would have lots of arrangements to make and need to know as soon as possible, not when the tickets drop through the letter-box.

Has anyone any idea of what I can do to give them my correct email address???

There is a 'contact us' button on the SCD Message Board - have a go through there, it might be that you can only leave a comment but it's better than nothing. And in my experience with the beeb, someone always gets back to you. Good luck!

The e-mail confirmation that I got, for my ticket request, gave this contact number.

Whilst you're at it, ask when they're sending the confirmations out for those who got tickets.

Hi

I just rang the BBC and spoke to a very nice lady. She told me that tickets are still being drawn and will be done all at the same time for all shows as they have lots of other shows they need to sort.

She also told me that they will not notify winners by email as they only take your email address when you apply on line so they can send you a confirmation that they have received your application.

Tickets will be sent out 5 - 10 days before the actual show and no advance notice will be given.

Looks like we will all be accosting the postman every day from now!!!

Hope this helps.

Gosh, that doesn't give much time if you have to make travel arrangements, etc.

Thanks for checking that

I've linked your post in the other thread about tickets so people will know.

It really doesn't, and not much good if you live out of the South East...as well as anything train fares are ruinous if you have to book that late. Am glad I didn't apply...thought about it and decided not to as the travel arrangements/hotel would be too much bother.
