Proline DVD1560I HD Player - Problem
I'm wondering if someone'll be able to help me with this, I'm fairly new to this HD stuff, so it may well just be me OR it may be faulty goods - at the moment I'm not sure which!
Anyway, I've had TWO Upscaling DVD Players from Comet, they've each been the "DVD1560I" by Proline. Whenever I've connected them up to my telly via HDMI the output to screen has had a very bright pink tint to it and no sound. Link to item - http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/pro...ab/accessories I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or these units have both been faulty? Anyone have any ideas please? |

For a start you don't have a HD DVD (which I suspect you already knew anyway).
Chances are it is just a crap player. Try it via SCART instead and let the TV do the upscaling. If that works then forget HDMI. If it were me I'd get this one... http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/pro...HIBA-SD480EKTB Bit more expensive but I've got a SD-370 which I think has been replaced by the 480. Can't complain about the performance though so if the 480 is comparable it will be a pretty good buy. |
